Pray for Albania
Week of May 28 - June 3, 2012

Albania is coming into the modern age! Albanians have always been isolated from the rest of the world. Being secluded by a mountain range, they have retained their ethnicity and national customs. Because of their seclusion they have become set in their ways, desiring to hold on to the customs of old rather than practice new methods and accept new beliefs. It is reported that the Albanian Christians are superficial in their commitments. The Catholics and Muslims would mix Christianity and Islam with local pagan beliefs just to get what converts they could. Albanians need to see Christians that are totally committed to their faith. Please leave a Comment or Reaction so we will know you Prayed

1. Let us look to the scriptures and find hope for Albania. Isaiah 46: 12-13a “Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, who are far from righteousness: I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger…”

2. As Albania opens up to the world, we pray that the Gospel will rush in.

3. There is a need for the Gospel to be demonstrated by the supernatural in Albania. Lord we pray that when the saints assemble, You would be manifest in their midst to save, heal and deliver. (I believe that the supernatural acts of Jesus will break the superficial hearts of the Albanian people.)

4. Lord, we pray for a holy assembling of pastors for the purpose of repentance and seeking Your face. The Lord promises to bring His righteousness near, within grasp. Albania needs to see Christians living holy before the Lord and demonstrating acts of righteousness.

5. Let us pray for faith to arise. May the Albanian Christians cry out for God to move in their country. Let the intercessors arise. Oh, the joy on the Lord’s face to see a great number of Albanian Christians before His throne worshiping Him.

6. Lord, thank You that You respond to the people that cry out to You. Let not Your salvation linger but come quickly to rescue Albania.

7. Many ministries went into Albania since Communism fell and we pray that their seeds would remain. May they be rewarded by seeing the salvation of many.

Pray for Turkey
Week of May 21-27,2012

In the Early Church, they first sent missionaries to Asia Minor (Turkey). Turkey was evangelized to the point that a third of the great city, Ephesus, was Christian. From Turkey missionaries went out to all the world. Then in the 14th and 15th centuries the Muslim hoards came, conquered Turkey and forced many to convert to Islam. Then the Turks, through the Ottoman Empire, expanded their economic base and their zeal for Islam toward the west and thereby dominated the Balkans for the next 500 years. Turkey has been a land where great movements have been launched.

Although we don’t have the actual numbers, Turkey in the 2nd and 3rd centuries was 33% Christian and by the 5th Century near 100% culturally Christian. Now there is around 0.2% Christians and that includes all Christian denominations. Also it is 100% culturally Islam.

1.       Oh, Lord, what can we do? How can we proclaim Your freedom in Turkey? How did the former saints loose the land, How can it be regained?

2.       Lord, we know Your judgments are serious and Your plans are beyond our ability to figure out, but we will cry out for Your mercy. We just simply ask You to lift Your judgment.

3.       Let us pray for the seeds planted by the Early Church. May they come forth once again and grow in Turkey.

4.       The report is that the evangelicals that are in Turkey are strong in their faith. We first ask You, Lord, for their protection. Next we ask for their encouragement. Lord, we pray that Your presence will be with them daily; Divine guidance.

A great number of youth in Turkey and the Muslim world are getting tired of the “don’ts” of the Muslin culture. Through the internet and their cell phones they are finding out that other teenagers are living life to the fullest.

5.       This is good and this is bad. We know materialism is deceptive and following secular pop-stars is also. Let us pray that they would hear of the greatest star of all, Lord Jesus.

6.       Thank You, Lord, for the dreams and visions You are giving many Muslims. The Muslim understands the dream language, so Lord we ask that You continue to speak to them in the night.

7.       Let us pray for intercessors that will develop a discipline to pray for Turkey.

8.       Let us pray for more Turkish speaking evangelist that will go.

9.       Lord, send out Turkish ministers on radio, television and the internet. Lord, we ask for invasion.

Pray for Slovenia
Week of May 14-20, 2012

According to the Eurobarometer Poll 2005,[218] 37% of Slovenian citizens responded that "they believe there is a god", whereas 46% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 16% that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, god, or life force". (Info from Wikipedia)

Generally in historic Christian countries you will get way over 50% that believe in the God of the Bible. The statistics above show that only 37% believe there is a God. Then there is an alarming 46% plus 16% that do not believe in the God of the Bible. This may be why Slovenia has the highest suicide rate in the Balkans and is ranked 6th in the world. (This was a 2005 poll, but recent reports show little change)

1.      Hope, hope, hope, this is what Slovenia needs. Thank You Lord that You bring abundant hope.

2.      Lord, we ask that You send out Your angels to soften the hard hearts. Prepare the people to hear the Gospel. Slovenia needs Your help.

Luke 13: 6-6  NKJV

He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.  Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’  But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.  And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’”

3.      The “keeper” in the above parable is like unto an intercessor. Lord, we ask that You call out the intercessors to pray for Slovenia; Station watchmen on the walls.

4.      Let us pray for the Slovenian Evangelical Christians to be burdened for their countrymen. Lord, raise up churches in Slovenia that will be safe places for the lost and newly redeemed to find healing. May there be trained ministers that can walk young Christians through emotional healing.

5.      Let us pray for anointed teachers to present the Gospel in purity and truth. Thank You, Lord, that Your Word cleanses us and shows us how to walk righteous before You.

Amos 9:13   NKJV “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.

6.      Lord, we pray for “plowmen” and “treaders” that will go quickly into the harvest field. Lord, we know this happens when the Holy Spirit blows across the land. Holy Spirit blow upon Slovenia.

7.      May the Slovene people ascend the mountain of the Lord and find His sweet wine. May they be so full of the sweetness of the Lord that they will spill out over the hills and into the valleys.

8.      Lord, we rebuke that lying spirit of suicide that inhabits Slovenia. Come Lord, and set the people free.

Pray for Serbia
Week of May-7-13,2012

Economic Headlines in Serbia

• Serbian currency continues its downward slide

• Serbian First-Quarter GDP Contracts 1.3%, Flash Estimate

• Also: 24 percent unemployment, a weak dinar, accusations of endemic corruption, and weak economic growth.

Sunday May 6th there was an election and the above facts weighted heavy on the outcome. If you have time read the following news article: Milosevic Party Emerges as Kingmaker

The final vote tally is not expected until Thursday May 10th. There will have to be a run-off election in a few weeks to discover the presidential victor. After talking with Christian friends from Serbia, it looks like the man they favor, Boris Tadic, will win but will have to make compromising appointments to obtain the votes needed.

1) Let us pray for the shakeout of this election. As Christians we are to pray for peace in the land and believe God to let righteousness rule.

2) Let us pray for the present president Boris Tadic. We pray that he stand firm for what is right.

3) Let us pray for the Serbian media as they report developments leading up to the run-off election. May truth be revealed. Secrets that are hidden, may they come to the surface.

4) Lord, most of all we pray that the Serbian people will hear/know the truth, even truth in politics. Lord, we also pray for rational thinking as the people analyze whom they should vote for. May they not be led astray by false hopes and emotional pleas.

Over the years I have found that a country usually gets the government they deserve. God is a just God whether a nation needs judgment or blessing. God does respond to the Church when they pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

1 Timothy 2:1-3
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

5) Let us pray for revival in Serbia. With less than 0.01% being evangelical Christian, Serbia is very dark and without Biblical understanding.

6) Let us pray for revival in the churches. May the Serbian Christians repent and be purged of sin so they will be a light to the hurting around them.

7) Lord, we ask for the Church worldwide to turn its focus on Serbia. Lord, send missionaries from the east and west. The physical country of Serbia is seeking financial investment from abroad, although this would be helpful, we ask for prayer investment and servants that just love the Serbian people.

Pray for Romania
Week of  March 30 - April 6, 2012

“Their deeds do not permit them
to return to their God.
A spirit of prostitution is in their heart;
they do not acknowledge the Lord.

I was in a prayer meeting and I randomly opened my Bible to see if God would speak. I opened to Hosea and my eyes fell on Hosea 5:4.  I read it and then waited on the Lord. This passage, in its context, is the Lord rebuking Ephraim.

I begin to think of how sin can deaden us to righteousness. In the prayer meeting I was actually seeking a direction to pray for Romania. At first I thought, “This is too harsh for Romania”. Then I heard the lord, “I have already rebuked Romania, you need to pray for deliverance from their bondage to sin’.

1)      Let us pray for the Lord’s mercy. Lord, we ask for You to gaze upon Romania with compassion. Lord, we stand in the gap for those lost in darkness.

2)      Thank You, Lord, that You are ready to forgive sin. Many men and women have brought curses on Romania through their depraved decisions, but You, Lord are breaking through. Thank You for open doors.

3)      Romania has a greater percentage of evangelical Christians than any other Balkan country. We thank the Lord for this but there are still many caught in darkness. Lord, although their deeds have cursed them from seeking You, Your mercy can surround them with truth. Lord, we ask that You shine a light into their dark world.

4)      Let us pray for the Christians of Romania. Lord, prepare them to shine Your light. May they be flash-lights. A light bulb fills a room with light but a flash-light is pointed directly at something.  Lord, send your saints into dark rooms where they will search every corner for lost souls.

Twice I have been to Romania and visited many homes of non-Christians. Many homes in Romania are dark and dingy. Much sin lurks there. Families trapped in sins of lust and the occult. I thank the Lord we were able to see many come to Jesus. Although they were trapped in the darkness, we were able to shine Jesus into their darkness.

5)      Let us pray that Romanian Christians would be so full of the Lord’s light that the off buttons on their flash-lights would be stuck on “on”. Lord, show them the joy of shining Your light.

Pray for Montenegro
Week of April 23-29, 2012
When I begin to pray and meditate on Montenegro, I got the word Cronyism.
Cronyism defined - partiality given to long-standing friends, especially by appointing them to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications.
1)      Let us pray against unmerited favor in Montenegrin government. How can the citizens have faith in their government when Cronyism is the standard.
2)      Lord, we ask You to expose all officials involved in this practice.
Second thing to pray about is the International Donors Conference scheduled for April 24th in Sarajevo, Bosnia. This can have an impact on the Kosovo Gypsy Refugees trapped in under-furnished camps in Montenegro. The Montenegrin government has a plan to build housing for these refugees but they need funding. (Prayer for these gypsies has been included in past “Praying for the Balkans, Project” directives) Source: http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/montenegro-needs-donors-for-roma-refugees
3)      Lord, only You know, but this International Donors Conference may be an answer to our past prayers. Thank You, Lord.
4)      Thank You, Lord, for the plan and the men and women that took part in the development. May they see the Lord guiding their hands.
5)      Let us ask for a holistic approach to this refugee problem. Holistic in the fact that the people’s souls are ministered to and they are treated as individuals and not just a needy group. Lord, we just ask for an open door for Christians to supply spiritual healing.
6)      Lord, we pray for anointed saints to be burdened for these refugees. Lord, is this an open door similar to what the Apostle Paul had: 1 Cor. 16: 8-9 But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost.  For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
7)      There is a Christian mission group that has been ministering in these camps – Eurovangelism (www.eurovangelism.org.uk). Lord, we pray they would be awarded with more anointing and finances to continue their work.
I also heard in my spirit that Montenegro needs intercessors.
8)      Lord, we ask that You put Montenegro on the hearts of the intercessors. May the bowls before God’s throne be filled with incense of prayers for Montenegro.
9)      Let us pray that the Holy Spirit would be released in Montenegro to draw men unto Jesus.
10)   Let us pray for Montenegrin Christians that will follow Jesus no matter what. Pastors, teachers, evangelist, etc. that love Jesus with all their heart.
1 Cor. 2:9  - But as it is written:  “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Pray for Macedonia FYROM

Week of March 16-22, 2012

In October 2009 the following prayer directive was sent out by Praying for the Balkans, Project for Macedonia, “Lord, raise up intercessors that spend time with You and seek Your direction on how to pray for Macedonia.” The following request from one of our prayer partners in Macedonia shows God is rising up intercessors.

Prayer Points for Macedonia:

1. Focused prayer is needed NOW for an increase in ethnic tension between Albanians and Macedonian that has risen in the last 2 months. Tension has not been this high since an escalation of violence in which 80 people were killed in 2001 - thankfully ending in the Ohrid Peace Accord. In February an off-duty Macedonian police officer shot and killed an Albanian man over what looked to be a dispute over a parking spot. What actually happened was not made public and Albanians believe that justice was not served. The next weeks there were different Macedonian and Albanian gangs attacking people on public buses. Police cracked down and arrested 30 people. Things had been calm until last Thursday when 5 Macedonian men were found murdered by a lake on the outskirts of Skopje. So far no suspects or motive have been identified. There are calls for calm, but clearly people are upset.

Please Pray for the PEACE of Jesus to reign over this nation.

Source: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/04/14/macedonia-declares-day-mourning-for-5-killed/

2. Pray for unity of the body of Christ in Macedonia. In recent years there has been a desire among church leaders to pursue reconciliation and grow in unity according to the prayer of Jesus in John 17. Pray that God would pour out a spirit of reconciliation and unity over all churches and believers in Macedonia. To know how to pray more specifically for this, go to the following website: www.ee.mk

3. Pray for the House of Prayer that the Lord is raising up in Macedonia and in the Balkan nations. On May 1-3 a core group of prayer leaders from multiple Balkan nations will gather in Skopje to pray and seek the Lord for the whole Balkans. Pray that God would breath His spirit over this gathering and release a new fire for prayer and unity that will spread through the region. A website has been set up to increase prayer for an among believers in all of the Balkan nations: http://www.balkannetworks.org/Join us for Balkan Prayer Day on Sept. 2, 2012.

4. Pray for a week of prayer in Macedonia that will be from May 11-17, 2012. We plan to have 5-7 hours a day, lifting Macedonia and her people before the Father.

5. Pray for pastors and leaders who are currently planning for the Global Day of Prayer. A 24/7 prayer room will be set up to run for 10 days from May 17-26. On Sunday, May 27, believers from all churches in Skopje will be invited to gather together, joining with churches around the world to pray for their nations and the world. Source: http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/

Please reread the above, stopping to Pray where the Spirit tells you to. Also for more information about prayer in Macedonia or other questions about Macedonia, email: praymacedonia@gmail.com.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

1) Let us thank the Lord for raising up Intercessors. May they be encouraged daily to continue to cry out. Lord, put a hedge of protection around them. Lord, show them Your heart.

2) Let us pray for a revival fire to come forth in the evangelistic churches that are in Macedonia. Lord we ask You to;

   a. Put eternity in their hearts,

   b. A Passion for Jesus,

   c. Brokenness for the lost,

   d. For finances to fund a revival,

   e. Apostolic over-site to guide and set things in order,

   f. And evangelistic meetings where the manifested presence of God is evident in signs and wonders.

3) With there being large ethnic groups in Macedonia, tension is quick to arise. Pray for the Macedonians, Bulgarians, Albanians and Roma (Gypsies) that they would learn to live together. Pray the courts would judge according to law in regards to disputes and not showing a bias. Also pray that the truth would not be hidden.

Pray for Kosovo

Week of April 9-15,2012

At the end of January Kosovo held its 13th annual International Day of Prayer, Fasting and Giving, which brought churches together and received interest in the media. Over a dozen churches in Kosovo hosted prayer meetings and attendances at these were unprecedented. Prayer rooms were set up to enable several churches to pray together for their nation.

Kosovo’s media took an interest in what was going on, with a local TV news station conducting an interview about it which was aired. Outside of Kosovo, many churches joined in to pray for their fellow believers, including many local churches across neighboring Albania. The World Evangelical Alliance encouraged its members to join in with this special day. http://www.eurovangelism.org.uk/news/115

1. Let us thank the Lord for drawing these churches together and their obedience to the Holy Spirit. With such a prayer movement in a small country like Kosovo we can expect great things from heaven.

2. Let us pray now for lasting results, changed lives and great favor from God’s throne for Kosovo.

3. Let us pray for the pastors. May they walk in integrity, and be worthy of honor.

4. May these pastors have hearts made tender by the Lord’s love flowing through them. Let us pray for unity among the evangelical pastors of Kosovo. We rebuke slander, pride and personal kingdom building.

5. We pray for unity among the believers. May they abound in love toward one another. John 13:35

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

6. Lord, help the pastors and church leaders in Kosovo to plan and prepare for the future.

7. May this year, 2012, be a year of great advancement for the Kosovo churches.

8. Let us pray for financial miracles for the Christians in Kosovo; job creation, giving hearts, raise in pastor’s salaries.

9. Let us pray Acts 2:46-47 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The report is that there are now 23 Evangelical Churches in Kosovo. With Resurrection Sunday (Easter) having just passed, let me give the following story.

Personal Story: In 1985 I went to Kosovo to visit a couple, John and Maria Angelic, who had moved from Serbia to start a church in Kosovo. At this time the church hadn’t been established but they were settling in. It was Easter Sunday and I remember thinking; “In America the churches are filled on this day but here in Kosovo there is no evangelical church to attend”.

Lord, thank You for the seeds planted 27 years ago and the fruit that has come forth. Oh, Lord, Your ways are glorious.

There are reports that the Wahhabi branch of Islam has been working in Kosovo, and thereby spreading their radical ideology. This is not good.

10. Lord, we ask that You bring confusion to the enemies camp.

11. Lord, may Your enemies eat dust upon the Kosovo fields. Prayer Is the Battle and Prayer Maintains His Victory!

Pray for Greece

Week of April 2-8,2012

I felt that the following scriptures were a guide to this week’s prayer direction.

Isaiah 66:3b-4
Just as they have chosen their own ways,
And their soul delights in their abominations,
So will I choose their delusions,
And bring their fears on them;
Because, when I called, no one answered,
When I spoke they did not hear;
But they did evil before My eyes,
And chose that in which I do not delight.

1. Greece claims to be a Christian nation but overwhelmingly the Greeks do not serve the Lord with all their heart. For many centuries now Jesus has been mostly represented by a building on a street that contains Icons. Let us pray for Greek eyes to be opened once again to the Gospel.

2. Because they delighted in their abominations, God has allowed delusion. Those Greeks that are religious seem to delight in their perverted doctrines. Let us pray that the Lord would have mercy on the Greek population and release a hunger for the truth.

3. Jesus called but they did not answer. They were busy following their own lust and greed. Let us pray that the present financial crisis would draw the Greeks back to Biblical principles.

4. Greece is like a field that lay dormant for centuries. There is richness in the soil. Lord, send Your tractors out to plow the fields and stir up the nutrients.

5. When the Gospel first came to Greece it was embraced. The Apostle Paul talks about the move of God in Greece where even businessmen and philosophers were coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As we cry out for Your mercy, Lord, may You prepare the Greek heart to once again receive the Gospel.

6. May we continue to believe for revival in Greece. As the institutions that men have trusted in are being shaken, may evangelist be found proclaiming God’s place of comfort for the soul.

7. Let us pray for Greeks that live throughout the world. May they be evangelized also.

8. Let us pray for the evangelical churches in Greece. May they take a bold step outside of their four walls to plant the love of Jesus in the newly plowed fields of Greece.

Pray for Croatia
(Week of March 26-31/2012)

When I was living in Former Yugoslavia, back in the eighties, I attended and helped with some Summer Youth Camps in the Croatian area. For awhile I followed some of the young people as they matured in years and found many of them going on with the Lord.
1)      Let us pray for the youth camps for this coming summer.
a.       Lord, we ask that You pick out those that are to be involved in organizing and helping in the camps. Release within them Your great love for the children.
b.      Lord, we pray You help the planners with all the details of the camps; activities, speakers and accommodations. We pray that all plans would be carried out according to the Lord’s will.
c.       Lord, make it possible for many youth to come.
d.      Let us pray for all the finances to come in for these camps. Let us pray for scholarships to be available for the children whose families can’t afford it. Raise up sponsors, Lord.
e.      Lord, we pray for an out-pouring of Your purposes on these Children. May they never be the same. Lord, we ask for the breaking off of demonic and generational ties that would drive them to alcohol, drugs and just general un-productivity.
f.        Let us pray that the Lord would reward each worker abundantly.
                                                               i.      Matthew 10:42 KJV
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
                                                             ii.      1 Corinthians 3:14 KJV
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
                                                            iii.      Colossians 3:24 KJV
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
2)      Tourism is one of the main driving forces of the Croatian economy. Hospitality and tourism generate 13 percent of the country’s gross domestic product, and Croatia is becoming a popular travel destination.
a.       The Lord has given Christians the gift of hospitality. Let us pray that a lot of these jobs will be filled by Christians.
b.      Let us pray that Christian business people would see the Croatian coast as a place to make a profit. Lord, speak to Christians to look at this area to invest.
c.       If you check my prayer guides over the years, I have often thought we should pray for the Churches to seek God on how they could reach out to the tourist that come to Croatian each Summer. The Nations are coming to Croatia.
d.      In the “spirit” I heard a tourist say, “I went on vacation to rest from my physical labor  but found rest for my eternal soul”

Dear Jerry,

Greetings from Croatia!

I am happy to announce to you that I am planning a trip to the States from June 15th-August 21st 2013. I am scheduing speaking engagements for Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, midweek services, seminars, conferences, men's meetings and meetings with pastors and missions boards.

If you would be interested in my coming to speak at your church please ask your pastor to contact our office at ceo@cce.hr and my administrator will contact him about scheduling my visit.

Thank you for your kind and loving support of the ministry here in Croatia.

May God richly bless you.

Pastor Mario Ducic,
Croatian Evangelistic Outreach, Zagreb, Croatia

3)      Let us pray for Pastor Ducic and his upcoming trip to America. This pastor knows the needs of Croatia better than anyone I know and it would be a blessing for him to speak in your church or fellowship.
a.       Let us pray that many would sign on to hosting Pastor Ducic, opening doors for him to speak and accommodating him along his way.
b.      Let us pray God would give Pastor Ducic a message to link American Christian’s hearts to the Christians in Croatia. Also that us American Christians would be stirred out of our apathy.
c.       I pray that this trip would be a very financial blessing for Pastor Ducic and the ministry he oversees in Croatia.
d.      Let us pray that Pastor Ducic would make many more friends.

Pray for Bulgaria
Week of Mar. 19-25, 2012

Let us pray for the youth of Bulgaria.

There are two Youth ministries that have sprung up in Bulgaria that are multi-denominational in scope; New Wave and EMO.

New Wave is a Christian movement for youth and young adults. The highlight of the movement is an annual non-denominational summer camp. Each summer ‘wave’ includes contemporary praise and worship, teaching and fellowship. These three components are important. New Wave is making contributions to the Kingdom of God by raising up leaders in the areas of teaching, preaching and music ministry. They are also blessing the broader Christian community by developing music videos and other resources for use in local churches.

EMO, which is a Bulgarian acronym for Evangelical Youth Organization, began as a monthly prayer meeting of around 20 youth pastors and youth leaders. Their prayer time developed into sharing ideas and coordinating their various ministry activities. One development was an initiative called “Prayer 365”, which is an effort to mobilize Bulgaria’s Protestant churches to intercede for Bulgaria, covering every day of the year. They are also raising up a network of youth leaders throughout Bulgaria.

1) Let us just thank the Lord that He is moving in Bulgaria among the youth. The two reports mentioned above give great hope for the future of Bulgaria.

2) Lord we pray for unity among the leadership of both of these organizations. May they walk humbly before You Lord, giving honor to one another. Jesus said,

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35

3) As the staff of New Wave sits down to plan the Summer camps for this year; Lord, first we pray that You will be in their mist. Lord, we ask that You supernaturally visit them with Your presence. Second, we ask Lord, that You will direct their plans. Give them much expectation to believe for a great baptism of fire for this coming summer.

4) Lord, we thank You for the innovative spirit that flows through New Wave. Continue to use them in new methods of modern ministry; such as music, videos, websites, web and radio broadcast, Social Networking, etc.

5) Lord, bless EMO as they stir up the youth to pray. Thank You Lord for giving their leadership a strategy for intercession over Bulgaria. May it result in a holy covering over Bulgaria.

6) Let us pray that the Protestant Churches would all open their doors to spiritually organized prayer. Oh, Jesus, open the doors to those Catholic and Orthodox Churches also. Touch the hearts of those priests, Lord.

7) May this be the Spring and Summer when many, many youth get saved. Lord, launch a major rescue effort. Reverse what the devil has done. May the streets and plazas in Bulgaria become a place to show forth Jesus this summer.

8) Let us pray for the churches to be ready to care for the new Christians. Show the pastors and churches how to set straight the Gospel in the minds and hearts of these new believers. May all the false myths about Jesus be corrected.

9) As you pray for Bulgaria and the Balkans, expect God to honor and respond to your prayers. He is preparing strategy to implement revival in the Balkans. May we be listening for His orders.

Cup and Cross Ministry reports:

In years past, we have visited and ministered to a dozen different youth camps in Bulgaria. Each of them has been unique and special, but it has been a while since we have ministered at a youth camp where people have been so hungry to receive from God.

Matthew 25:21

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

The Lord rewards obedience with joy and maturity.

Pray for Bosnia Herzegovina

Signs of Healing in multi-ethnic Bosnia Herzegovina.

SARAJEVO, MARCH 12 - Sarajevo will erect a monument for Serbians who were killed by government troops during the siege on the city in the conflict that raged in the '90s. The monument will be dedicated to Serbs who were killed in 1992-93 by members of the 10th brigade of government forces, commanded by Musan Topalovic, alias 'Caco', a Bosnian Muslim who was killed by the Bosnian army in 1993.

If you know much about Bosnia you know there is three ethnic groups; Muslim Bosniaks, Croatian Bosniaks and Serbs. Neither has a majority so friction is everywhere. So the above article is encouraging.

A Video about Bosnia Herzegovina - http://www.euronews.com/2012/03/01/bosnia-20-bitter-years/

1) As Bosnians acknowledge the past, may they look to a future of coexistence. Let us pray that the erecting of this monument will have a positive effect and not negative.

2) Lord, we thank You that the Gospel is all about breaking down walls. In Ephesians 2:14-16 (NKJV) “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.”

3) May the Lord be lifted up before the eyes of the Bosnian people. A Jesus that came off the cross and now reigns in power. May they see the true Jesus that can wipe away their fears, suspicions and guilt. May they let Him take away their hate.

4) Let us pray for unity among Christians in Bosnia. May every church door be open to any and all people groups.

5) Let us pray that a Bosnian identity will arise, not a Bosniak or Serbian culturalism that divides.

Some say the Bosniaks are confused about their past and their future.

Hasan, one of the characters in Mehmed Mesa Selimovic’s book Dervis i smrt (The Dervish and Death), says that Muslims/Bosniaks are the most complicated people, that they are stuck half-way through, baffled, not able to go anywhere, detached, embarrassed about their heritage and feeling guilty about their betrayal, that they refuse to look back and have no place to move forward to.

6) Let us first rebuke the above statements. Let us pray for hope to come to Bosnia.

7) Let us pray against backwardness, poverty and lack of education.

8) Let us pray that the Lord would raise up people of vision to challenge the status quo.

9) As we have prayed before; the government is broke and needs Christians to get involved in civil service. Lord, raise up Christians with Your anointing to bring wisdom to the Bosnian government.

10) Discipleship training in the Churches should present the whole Gospel. Let it be taught and lived out that the Gospel is to not only change people but the culture around it.

11) Maybe we should pray for evangelism since there are really few born again Christians in Bosnia.

More Positive news and answers to past Prayers.

The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption has launched a website on its anti-corruption work, newswires reported March 7. The site allows people to report corruption electronically as well as local news on corruption, relevant pieces of legislation and future projects of the Agency. The website also features a Q&A section on how to fight corruption and invites visitors to give suggestions and ideas for improving the fight against this type of crime in BiH.

Pray for Albania
Week of March 5-11, 2012

Three (3) things I would like for us to pray about: 1) Women Day in Albania, 2) Teaching of the Chinese language and, 3) Corruption.

Women's day is March 8th and in Albania it is also called Mother’s day, which was changed during the time of the communist regime. Regularly on this day women receive gifts and everything is allowed to them.

Song of Solomon 1:15

Behold, you are fair, my love!
Behold, you are fair!
You have dove’s eyes.

1) Women’s Day is celebrated all over the Balkan countries. Let us pray that the women of the Balkans would feel special this week. When the churches meet, may they honor the women and especially the mothers.

2) Proverbs 31 shows us a godly, virtuous woman; her hard work and the honor that is due her. Let us pray that in the churches virtuous women would be raised up and not Jezebels.

3) Let us pray against the exploitation of women. May the daughters of Albania be protected and valued for their womanhood and not be sold into dens of pleasure.

4) Lord, bring freedom and respect to the Muslim women of Albania.

>
Prime Minister Berisha has ask that Albanian schools start to teach Chinese in the schools. Currently, under the government’s new directives pre-university pupils are required to study two foreign languages, of which English, French, German or Spanish were among the electives. But now, Prime Minister Berisha has suggested that they should also be offered Chinese…
5) Let us pray for Chinese Christians in the academic field in China to hear a call to go to Albania where they can fill these teaching jobs. Lord, call out Your special ones and give them Your love for the Albanian children.

>
U.S. Ambassador to Albania, John Whithers, speaking on corruption, said;

“Albanians value honesty as much as any people in the world and as much as any people that I know. Albanians hate corruption. They hate the fact that the few who are corrupt spoil it for the many who are not.”

Some of the practical things he mentioned include these:

• The political elite of Albania should lead by example.

• Change the immunity law, which protects senior officials in courts, in Parliament and in other offices from prosecution.

• The political leadership of Albania should empower the institutions that seek justice.

• Public responsibility: citizens who see corruption or victims of corruption, protesting it, criticizing it, exposing the incidents of corruption, demanding more of the leadership to do something about corruption.

6) Lord, let the words of Ambassador John Whither be a proclamation, a declaration and a new direction for Albania.

7) We pray for the exposure of those involved in corruption; Bring to light the hidden things.

8) Research shows that the main problem is in the judicial. We pray that righteous judges will arise. Lord, execute Your justice over the judges.

9) Lord, give boldness to the Albanian people to speak out against corruption.

Pray for Turkey
(Posted 2-27-12)

Just as Apostle Paul asked for prayer during the first move of God in Asia Minor, so we need to pray for today’s’ pastors.

Colossians 4:3 (NIV)
And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

1. Let us pray for the pastors and missionaries in Turkey. May they have an open door to proclaim the Gospel.

2. Liberty to preach, liberty to do acts of kindness, liberty to be visible in the culture so the mysteries of Christ may be proclaimed.

3. Lord, we ask that the Holy Spirit would go before and prepare hearts to receive because we know the mysteries of Christ are foolishness to the carnal mind. Prepare Turks to open their hearts to the Gospel.

4. So many received Jesus during Paul’s days. Let us pray for another move of God in Turkey. Lord, just as You broke men’s minds out of Greek philosophy and paganism so You can break up the bondage of Islam.

5. Lord, thank You for the houses of prayer that are strategically positioned around Turkey. Give those sacrificing saints more and more zeal to pray for Turkey. May we all see the unraveling of Islam shortly.

Mixed signals from the Turkish government:

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay has said Jerusalem had to be freed of Israeli occupation if a lasting settlement was to reign in the Middle East.

"Without the liberation of Jerusalem, no real peace and stability can be achieved in the Middle East or farther afield," Atalay told the Anadılu Agency in Doha, Qatar, where he was set to participate in the International Conference for Defense of Jerusalem.

"For us, the Middle East is a place where all religions and sects should live together," said Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
The Deputy Prime Minister says Jerusalem needs to be freed of the Jews and the Foreign Minister said all religions should live together.

6. In the recent past there has been Turkish government policy favorable to Israel. Let us pray against those radical Islamic groups that are influencing government leaders. May there be confusion in their camp.

7. Let us pray for a shift in the Turkish government, Lord, replace those that are radical and submissive to Islamic pressure with men and women like Foreign Minister Davutoglu that long for peace among the religions.

8. Let us return to the mysteries of Christ and pray for hearts to be changed, no matter which religion they belong to.

9. Although Turkey was responsible for much bloodshed in the Balkans 400 and 500 years ago, let us believe for a day when Turks are proclaiming the redemptive blood of Jesus.

Pray for Slovenia
(Week of Feb. 20-26, 2012)

Revelation 8:4 - KJV
And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

What this says to me is that angels gather our prayers, take them before God’s throne where He gives them serious consideration. So we can have confidence that our prayers for Slovenia will be under review and acted upon by God Himself.

There are many atheist and agnostics in Slovenia. It is almost a pride among them.

1. We pray that the Lord would extend grace unto them and not give them over to a perverted mind. Romans 1:28 NKJV And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

2. May there arise a special ministry in Slovenia aimed at reaching these people whom Satan has blinded their eyes and understanding. Lord, send loving Christians that will break down rebellion with acts of kindness.

 > Slovenia: In the whole of 2011, The trade balance was a deficit of EUR1.649 billion.

3. Let us pray for productivity to rise in the Slovenian people. May the country as a whole have the blessing given to Isaac. Genesis 26:12-14 (NKJV) 12) Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. 13) The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; 14) for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.

4. It is true that God blesses the righteous. May blessings come to those that are seeking the Master builder for their prosperity and the well being of Slovenia.

On February 10, 2012, the National Assembly sworn in the new government, which held its founding meeting on the same day. The 2012 - 2015 term Government consists of the coalition partners: the Slovenian Democratic Party, Civic List of Gregor Virant, the Democratic Party of Slovenian Pensioners, the Slovenian People's Party and New Slovenia - Christian People's Party.

5. After revealed corruption in government and government policies blamed for the economic down-turn in Slovenia, a new Prime Minister has been sworn in by the National assembly. Let us pray for Prime Minister Janez Janša as he guides government policies.

6. May he choose to surround himself with people of wisdom that will inspire him in justice and prosperity for all Slovenes. May they guide Slovenia toward internal policies that bring blessings and foreign policies that make Slovenia a blessing in the mist of nations.

7. Let us pray Ephesians 5:17 (NKJV) over the Slovenian government; Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

8. Let us pray for the churches of Slovenia, may they break away from dry traditions and seek the resurrected Lord that offers grace daily.

Pray for Serbia

Serbia is being hit hard by the present cold-snap in Europe. This cold weather and the many feet of snow has caused really bad conditions in Serbia. Twelve have died in Serbia from the cold. The Ibar river that runs through Kraljevo is frozen over. There is fear of flooding because of the thickness of the ice. It looks like they will have to use dynamite to break it up.

1) Let us pray for those suffering from this extreme cold weather in Serbia. Those that were not prepared with heating fuel may they find the fuel they need.

2) Let us pray for the churches; may the Lord bless them with an abundance of wood and coal so they may give to those in need. Because of the weather it is hard to transport this fuel in now, so let us pray for the multiplication of what they have.

Sandjak is an area of Southwest Serbia that is predominately Muslim. The area was established as a province in the Ottoman Empire over four hundred years ago. Part of the old Sandjak province is in Montenegro. As the Ottoman Empire collapsed, this area remained Muslim.

There are no known evangelical churches in Sandjak. There are some scattered Christians in the area but they are separated and have to travel out of the area for fellowship.

Beautiful, Special and Spiritually deprived is the Sandjak area of Serbia. For a view of Sandjak see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1O8Xn5O2e8&feature=player_embedded also Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand%C5%BEak

3) Lord, we pray for Your grace to be extended to the Sandjak area.

4) Lord, we believe that as we pray, You will send ministering spirits (angels) to prepare a way for the Gospel to be preached and lived out before the people.

5) Lord, for Your remnant that is there, give them hope. May they hear a good word from afar that You are coming to fulfill their hope.

6) Let us pray for Christians outside Sandjak to hear of the needs there and be moved by the Holy Spirit to get involved. Lord, raise up Christian based support for Sandjak.

7) Even now, Lord, put plans in motion for outreach in Sandjak this summer.

8) Let us pray that there would not be another generation of Sandjak children raised up without hearing the true Gospel.

I feel the Lord led me to the following verses to read and meditate on for insight of how to pray further for the Sandjak area of Serbia. There may be curses there that are holding back the people from being able to prepare themselves for the Lord’s visitation.

Ezekiel 23:39-41 (NKJV)
39) For after they had slain their children for their idols, on the same day they came into My sanctuary to profane it; and indeed thus they have done in the midst of My house.
40) “Furthermore you sent for men to come from afar, to whom a messenger was sent; and there they came. And you washed yourself for them, painted your eyes, and adorned yourself with ornaments. 41) You sat on a stately couch, with a table prepared before it, on which you had set My incense and My oil.
